SA BASS Cast-for-Cash
FLW South Africa Championship
TOURNAMENT FORMAT (SUMMARIZED)
(August 2017 to July 2018)
Why pre-enter the Cast-for-Cash season?
The number of pre-entry tags, starting at tag number one, will be kept aside and only pre-entries will draw from that batch. The rest of the field will draw from the number following the last pre-entry number upwards. For example, if the region has twenty pre-entries then the pre-entry teams in that region will draw tags numbers between one and twenty. The rest of the field will draw from tag number 21 and up.
The same principal will be applied at the FLW Championships where the pre-entries for the current Cast-for-Cash season will draw from a separate batch. If we have in total fifty pre-entries for the Cast-for-Cash season then tags number one to fifty will be reserved for the pre-entry teams.

The FLW SA Small Craft Championship is the season’s final event. Anglers qualify for this championship through a series of The Bass Challenge (TBC) tournaments. The top anglers from three regions Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Western Cape will compete over two days for four sponsored slots as guest anglers at the International Friendship Tournament held on the Saturday of the Costa FLW Series Championship.
The Bass Challenge offers a platform for bass anglers who fish from float tubes, kick-boats, pontoon boats, kayaks, inflatables and small bass boats to socially compete in a stress-free environment. TBC do not claim to be a professional outfit, on the contrary, they like to keep their tournaments fun and friendly without the hustle and bustle of the traditional bass tournament trails in South Africa. The bag limit is three fish per angler per day.
